Activities:

• Develop Conversion Specification
  • Use data extraction guidelines to develop data conversion specifications which are unique to a set of materials
  • Create sample tagged data for each set of materials to demonstrate DCL’s understanding of the conversion requirements

• Approve Data Conversion Specification and Sample
  • Review and verify that data conversion specifications are correct and complete
  • Review and verify that tagged sample is accurately reflects conversion requirements

• Develop Pre-Tagging Instructions
  • If necessary, develop pre-tagging instructions used to prepare materials for automated data conversion
