		<description><![CDATA[This article summarizes findings from a series of interviews conducted with DITA implementers at twelve companies; the intent of the study was to focus on what really happened in live implementations and collect actual data to test perceptions that exist in the industry. The ground rules for the study were that the people interviewed for this study were to be people intimately involved in the implementations, they were promised anonymity, and were asked to reflect on what really happened rather than what they would have liked to happen.]]></description>
