Data Conversion Laboratory Selects Ellen Perlman to Manage Business Development

Fresh Meadows, NY — February 9, 2010: Data Conversion Laboratory, Inc. (DCL) is pleased to announce that Ellen J. Perlman has recently joined the firm as Vice President of Business Development. DCL provides conversion services and software to publishers, information aggregators, industry, government, libraries and documentation developers.

Ms. Perlman brings with her over 25 years of experience in sales and management for such organizations as Capital Blue Cross, Aetna, and Prudential. The increasing national interest in electronic medical records means that more health care and insurance clients will be seeking conversion of paper records. DCL has been assisting its clients with patient record conversions for some time; Ms. Perlman’s expertise will be invaluable in helping to expand that segment of its business.

Ms. Perlman holds a B.S. in journalism and communications from the University of Florida and an M.B.A from the University of Phoenix. In her free time, Ms. Perlman likes to indulge her love for travel, which has taken her to destinations like Thailand, Egypt, and even a hot—air balloon ride over the Serengeti desert.

Mark Gross, DCL President and CEO, commented on the staff expansion: “Ellen brings a wealth of sales and marketing talent to DCL. We feel we are poised to grow significantly in the coming year and to assist the medical and insurance industries as they continue to modernize their record—keeping systems.” Ms. Perlman responded: “I am delighted to be taking on a new challenge in a field that can benefit from my years of health care experience.”
