Jeppesen Manual Revision Service – Fact Sheet

Jeppesen Airway Manuals Revision Update Service

What is it:
Jeppesen Airway Manual Service provides charts and maps to support worldwide aviation. DCL’s Jeppesen Revision Update Service updates Jeppesen charts and maps, providing airlines and aircraft operators a convenient and cost-effective approach to make sure that charts and maps are always current and meet FAA requirements.

Capability:
  • Revision insertion and maintenance for Jeppesen Manuals
  • Tracking Jeppesen sets to assure that they are always up-to-date.
  • Maintaining compliance information
DCL Experience:
DCL has experience working with passenger and cargo airlines. In current discussions with several other operators.

Cost Reduction:
DCL’s Jeppesen Revision Update Service provides savings by reducing the number of manual sets (and revision subscriptions) that an operator needs to maintain. Number of sets is typically reduced from one suitcase per flight crew member to four suitcases per aircraft (two on flight deck plus two out for revision at any time). One client reported annual savings of $250,000.

Tracking:
Secure tracking of manuals available 24x7x365 to confirm receipt and ship dates and shipping tracking information. DCL can also provide data to the operators own document tracking systems.

Differentiators:
  • FAA audits and customer aircrews have noted the thoroughness and accuracy resulting from our processes.
  • Capability to forward ‘hand written entries’ to Flight Pubs for consideration as a COC for fleet incorporation.
