A discussion of content strategy often devolves into technology related questions; what CMS to use, how do you produce mobile, how can we deliver dynamic content on our web site. But content strategy is not about technology, it's about the content! The technology is simply a tool designed to enable us to create, manage and deliver our content in the most effective way to our customers. Starting with the technology is a recipe for failure.
This session will help you to put content front and center in your content strategy and illustrate how your content strategy enables you to make the right technology decisions. This session will cover:
Customer needs analysis
Envisioning your content experience
Designing responsive content
Mapping your content requirements to technology requirements
