Company Description

Data Conversion Laboratory (DCL) is the nation's leading data conversion service bureau. Located in New York, DCL is expert at capturing, converting, and tagging text and images from all sources.  With particular expertise in SGML and XML, the company is instrumental in some of the largest, most complex conversion projects in the world.

Role and Responsibility

We are looking for someone to take responsibility for expanding DCL’s sales in the Federal arena, directly to government and defense agencies, as well as to contractors to the Federal Government.  This person will work as part of a team of DCL sales and marketing professionals, reporting directly to the Director of Sales.  Responsibilities include: 

Candidate Requirements

  1. Demonstrated success in sales of technical products and services, with at least 3 years relevant sales experience.

  2.  

    Knowledge of technical documentation with at least one year of experience working in the Federal arena.

  3.  

     Ability to generate sales leads through tele-prospecting, trade shows, etc.

  4.  

    Working knowledge of SGML or XML.

  5.  

    Ability to work independently and produce results.

  6.  

    Outstanding interpersonal skills and ethics.
