DITA: The Content Driver Supporting Critical Business Needs

DCL and Comtech offer three-part webinar series starting January 19th, 2012

Fresh Meadows, NY:  Data Conversion Laboratory (DCL), a leading provider of digital publishing services, and Comtech Services, Inc, a content-management and information-design firm, are partnering to offer a free three-part webinar series on DITA entitled "Crossing the Chasm" presented by Dr. JoAnn Hackos, president of Comtech Services.

The series covers all aspects of a DITA implementation from the learning process, moving through a pilot project, acquiring tools and converting legacy content, and ending with how innovators are optimizing content delivery and spreading new ways of structuring and managing content throughout the enterprise.

"Maximizing Return on Investment from a DITA implementation entails a clear understanding of process advancements and new technology," said Dr. Hackos. "Innovative organizations are now turning to new methods of delivering and managing content across the enterprise. By expanding the reach of content onto mobile devices and social media, innovators use DITA to develop solutions to customer questions, coordinate shared information development by numerous and distributed content creators, and enable efficient and accurate publishing of business-critical content to a variety of reader platforms," according to Dr. Hackos.

"Organizations whose documents need to be accurate, unquestioningly consistent, and easily translatable to multiple languages owe it to themselves to seriously consider DITA ," said Mark Gross, president of DCL. "We are excited to have the Comtech team share with us their first-hand knowledge gained from many DITA implementations," he added.
